Why Group Work?

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in connection. Individual therapy offers deep one-on-one exploration, but there’s something uniquely powerful about sitting in a circle and realizing, “I’m not the only one.”

At JDF Collective, our groups are experiential, skill-building, and deeply transformative. Rooted in Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ frameworks, each group is designed to help you lay down the armor of perfectionism, build resilience, and rediscover your authentic self.

    Wholehearted Growth is for anyone who struggles with self-doubt, over-functioning, or feeling “not enough.” Through reflection, connection, and guided exercises, you’ll learn to embrace imperfection, cultivate resilience, and live a life that feels deeply aligned with who you are.

Unshakeable is a transformative group experience based on Brené Brown’s Daring Way™ curriculum, designed for those ready to break free from perfectionism, fear, and self-doubt to live with greater authenticity and courage.

    In this group, you’ll explore:
    🛡 Building True Confidence – Learning how to quiet the inner critic and stand firm in your worth.
    💬 The Power of Vulnerability – Redefining strength, setting boundaries, and showing up as your whole self.
    Letting Go of Shame & Fear – Releasing old stories that keep you playing small and embracing self-compassion.
    🌟 Living Brave – Stepping into your full potential with clarity, courage, and resilience.

    Unshakeable is for you if you feel stuck in people-pleasing, struggle with self-worth, or are ready to live with greater purpose and connection. In a safe, supportive space, you’ll learn how to show up bravely, own your story, and live unapologetically as yourself.

    Rooted & Rising is for you if you’re feeling stuck, navigating a life transition, or simply ready to show up differently in your own story. Here, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to process, heal, and grow because resilience isn’t about avoiding the fall, it’s about learning how to rise.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you’re feeling stuck, navigating a life transition, or struggling with perfectionism, self-doubt, or resilience, a group setting can provide powerful support. Our groups are designed for individuals looking to grow, heal, and connect in a meaningful way with others on similar journeys.

  • While individual therapy offers one-on-one support, group therapy provides the unique benefit of shared experiences. You’ll gain insight from others, feel less alone in your struggles, and learn new skills in a supportive, judgment-free space. Many people find that group work accelerates their personal growth in ways they didn’t expect.

  • Group participation is always at your comfort level. While sharing can be incredibly healing, there’s no pressure to disclose more than you’re ready for. You’ll still gain a lot just by listening, learning, and engaging with the exercises.

  • Most groups run for 8 weeks, meeting once a week. Consistency is key for growth, but life happens! If you need to miss a session, we’ll work to keep you engaged so you can stay on track with the group’s progress.

  • 1. In Person Experience

    • $87.50 per session → $700 total for the 8-week series

    • Sliding scale spots: Limited reduced-rate spots for those with financial constraints

    2. Virtual Experience

    • $87.50 per session → $700 total for the 8-week series
