A space to return to yourself: with curiosity, care, and compassion.
Hi, I’m Sofia.
I know what it’s like to move through life feeling like you should have it all together on the outside, while inside you’re carrying perfectionism, burnout, self-criticism, or the quiet ache of feeling disconnected from who you used to be. Maybe you’ve been navigating transitions, relationships, or big questions about identity; and somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling fully at home within yourself.
I’m a licensed therapist (LPC-Associate), National Certified Counselor, and a Third Culture Kid who grew up across Argentina, Chile, the U.A.E., and the Midwest. That global, multicultural upbringing shaped how I see people, belonging, and the tender in-between spaces we all move through. It’s part of why I believe therapy should feel like a grounding place, a place where you can breathe, slow down, and finally hear your own voice again.
My work centers around women and young adults navigating perfectionism, burnout, emotional exhaustion, identity exploration, relationship changes, and the pressure to constantly perform or please. In our sessions, we gently uncover the masks and patterns that once kept you safe but now keep you stuck. We make room for the parts of you that long to rest, speak up, feel more connected, and live with more intention.
My approach blends mindfulness, emotional regulation, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral tools, but at its heart, it’s collaborative, compassionate, and deeply human. I help you build awareness without judgment and reconnect with your inner world in ways that feel kinder, steadier, and more aligned with who you truly are. Whether we’re reflecting together or grounding the work in practical tools, you can expect a balance of depth and direction.
Along the way, I bring creativity, curiosity, and cultural attunement to the room. As a bilingual therapist, I’m able to support you in Spanish if that feels more natural. And as someone who has worked in university counseling, community mental health, and career coaching, I’m committed to meeting you where you are with evidence-based care and a genuine belief in your capacity to grow.
Most of all, this is a space where you don’t have to earn your worth or prove anything. You just get to show up, exactly as you are, and together we begin the work of returning to yourself with clarity, compassion, and intention.
