The clinicians behind JDF Collective

Therapists committed to relational, compassionate work rooted in connection, curiosity, and wholehearted growth.

THE HEART OF OUR WORK

A shared approach, held by different people

At JDF Collective, all clinicians practice from the same foundational approach grounded in relational safety, curiosity, and compassion. While each therapist brings their own presence, background, and areas of focus, the work is held within a consistent framework of care, one that values connection over performance and growth without pressure.

Founder & Therapist

Kallie Allen, M.Ed, LPC-S, DWTF

Founder & Clinical Focus

Kallie is the founder of JDF Collective and a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, and Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator. She works with women navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the identity shifts that often accompany life transitions and motherhood.

Her Approach

Kallie’s work is grounded in Brené Brown’s research and shaped by her background in school counseling and play therapy, where she witnessed how early stories influence the way we relate to ourselves and others as adults. She brings curiosity, compassion, and relational depth to the therapeutic process.

How She Holds the Work

At the heart of Kallie’s work is creating spaces where women can lay down the armor, reconnect with their authentic selves, and grow through connection rather than pressure. In addition to individual therapy, she facilitates group experiences and offers clinical supervision rooted in thoughtful leadership and care.

Sofia Hoeft, M.S., LPC-Associate

Supervised by Kallie Allen, M.Ed, LPC-S, DWTF

Clinical Focus

Sofia is a licensed therapist (LPC-Associate) and National Certified Counselor who works with women and young adults navigating perfectionism, burnout, identity exploration, relationship changes, and the pressure to constantly perform or please.

Perspective & Approach

As a Third Culture Kid who grew up across Argentina, Chile, the U.A.E., and the Midwest, Sofia brings deep cultural attunement and sensitivity to the in-between spaces of belonging and becoming. Her approach blends mindfulness, emotional regulation, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral tools, while remaining collaborative, compassionate, and deeply human at its core.

How She Supports Clients

Sofia offers therapy in both English and Spanish and is especially attuned to supporting clients who are seeking clarity, steadiness, and a kinder relationship with themselves. She creates a space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and move forward with greater intention and self-trust.

Finding the Right Fit Matters

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it’s okay not to know who might be the best fit right away. If you’re unsure where to begin, we’re happy to help you think it through and answer any questions. Starting therapy doesn’t require certainty, just a willingness to begin the conversation.
