Confidentiality & Limits
Your personal and health information will not be shared without your written consent except in the following cases, as required by Texas law:

  • If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

  • If there is suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child, elderly person, or disabled individual.

  • If ordered by a court of law.

  • If required for professional oversight by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC).

  • Client rights and responsibilities.

  • Emergency procedures.

Clients may request a copy of this document at any time.

Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act Compliance)

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of the expected costs for your mental health care if you are:

  • Uninsured or

  • Not using insurance for services.

Estimate Includes:

  • Expected session fees per visit.

  • Projected number of sessions (if known).

  • Any additional costs related to therapy services.

Disclaimer: This estimate is based on information available at the time and may change. If your actual costs exceed this estimate by $400 or more, you may file a billing dispute.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • Missed appointments without notice will be billed at the full session rate.

  • Exceptions may be made for emergencies on a case-by-case basis.

Payment & Insurance Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA accounts, and cash/checks.

  • We do not bill insurance directly but can provide superbills for reimbursement upon request.

  • Sliding scale options may be available for clients with financial hardship.

Social Media & Communication Policy

  • We do not engage with clients via social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

  • Electronic communication (email/text) should only be used for appointment scheduling and administrative purposes.

  • Confidential matters should be discussed in session or via secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms.
