Clinical Supervision for Developing & Thoughtful Therapists

Supportive, relational supervision for clinicians across settings who want to grow with confidence, clarity, and integrity. Guided by a supervisor with a strong teaching and mentoring foundation.

I believe we grow most when learning is collaborative, reflective, and rooted in connection.

A SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP ROOTED IN TEACHING AND PRACTICE

Supervision that blends clinical depth with an educator’s lens.

Clinical supervision is not only about case consultation, it’s about learning how to think clinically, develop your professional voice, and grow with intention over time. My approach to supervision is shaped by years of work in education and training environments, where teaching, mentorship, and reflective learning were central. That background allows me to support clinicians not just as practitioners, but as developing professionals.

Why my background strengthens supervision

Warm. Grounded. Collaborative.

Background in Education & Systems

Before private practice, I spent years working in educational settings as a school counselor and play therapist. These roles required clear teaching, developmental attunement, and the ability to support growth within complex systems, experience that continues to shape how I supervise today.

How This Shapes My Supervision

That background brings structure, clarity, and intention to my supervisory work. I’m deeply aware of how clinicians learn over time and how to support the integration of new skills in ways that feel sustainable rather than overwhelming.

What This Means for Supervisees

• Strong foundation in teaching, mentorship, and professional development
• Ability to translate theory into practical, real-world clinical application
• Experience supporting clinicians at different stages of growth
• Attunement to systems, ethics, and the realities of everyday practice

My approach to clinical supervision

My supervision style is relational, reflective, and grounded in curiosity rather than evaluation. I approach supervision as a collaborative learning space. One where clinicians can ask questions, explore uncertainty, and receive thoughtful feedback without fear of judgment. Drawing from my background as an educator, I’m intentional about pacing, scaffolding growth, and supporting each supervisee’s unique learning style.

WHAT SUPERVISION INCLUDES

Balance

Supervision supports sustainable growth by attending to both clinical skill development and the emotional experience of being a therapist. We focus on learning without burnout, helping you build a practice that is steady and livable over time.

Competency

Clinical competency is built through case consultation, skill development, and reflective practice. Supervision supports your ability to translate theory into meaningful, real-world clinical application.

Ethics

Ethical decision-making is explored thoughtfully and in context, not as a checklist. Supervision offers space to reflect on boundaries, scope, and responsibility with nuance and clarity.

Self-Trust

Through individual and group learning spaces, supervision fosters self-trust and professional identity development. You’re supported in finding your own clinical voice rather than relying solely on external validation.

Preparation

Supervision helps you prepare for the realities of clinical work by strengthening clinical reasoning and confidence. We focus on integration rather than performance, so learning feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

Discipline

Growth is supported through consistency, structure, and ongoing mentorship beyond isolated case review. Supervision includes both individual sessions and group-based learning experiences, allowing for shared insight and continued development.

Included in total monthly supervision cost: individual supervision, group supervision and/or group clinical learning experiences, case consultation, professional identity support, and ongoing mentorship.
