Founder & Therapist
Kallie Allen, M.Ed, LPC-S, DWTF
Background & Training
Kallie Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with a background deeply rooted in education and school-based mental health. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s of education in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. She is also a Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator, trained directly in Brené Brown’s research on vulnerability, shame resilience, and wholehearted living.
Leadership & Perspective
With over two decades of experience in educational settings, Kallie founded and led a nationally recognized student wellness program and received the Texas CREST Award for excellence in school counseling. That experience continues to shape her work today, bringing a systems-informed, developmentally attuned lens to both therapy and supervision, and a deep respect for the emotional load carried by educators, caregivers, and helpers.
Clinical Focus & How She Works
Kallie specializes in working with high-achieving women navigating perfectionism, burnout, and identity shifts, as well as teens and young adults seeking self-compassion and authentic connection. Her therapeutic work often integrates narrative exploration and thoughtful reflection to support meaningful, sustainable change. Originally from Colorado and now living in Texas, Kallie brings warmth, creativity, and humor into her work, believing healing happens best in spaces where people feel seen, safe, and free to tell the truth.

Finding the Right Fit Matters
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it’s okay not to know who might be the best fit right away. If you’re unsure where to begin, we’re happy to help you think it through and answer any questions. Starting therapy doesn’t require certainty, just a willingness to begin the conversation.
